  3. I'm a pretty laid-back, mostly* normal guy with a sense of humor that can best be described as 1/2 witty, 2/3 cynical** and sarcastic, and 1/2 silly/gross/offensive/stupid. I think it's very healthy to be able to laugh at anything, I try not to take things too seriously, and in fact, I am pretty adept at finding the lighter side of most situations, usually to an inappropriate degree.

    While I'm fairly normal, I seem to be a magnet for weird situations, and I love them. The weirder the better as far as I'm concerned.

    My primary sources of enjoyment come from playing guitar, skateboarding, taking pictures of interesting/decripit/horrible/beautiful/odd things and/or people, and reading. I'm usually up for whatever though; a good hike, a game of scrabble, netflixing something, etc - I think that you can make anything fun as long as you're in good company.


    * "Mostly" here just means too bizarre for normal people, but too normal for bizarre people.

  5. Like everybody(?) else, I'm on this site, I'd like to forge an unholy alliance with somebody awesome* who I can just be myself around and that I don't have to worry about trying to impress. I respect people who are comfortable in their own skin, can talk about anything with an open mind, are brutally honest, and don't hesitate to call bullshit. Especially someone who can challenge me and dish out/take a bit (read: a lot) of sass. Please have a sense of humor too - the more fucked up the better. That said, if your principle interests include shopping for uggs, american idol, and saying 'lol' in response to everything, we probably won't get along... I tend to get along better with I guess what you'd call 'fringe types' in general. * "Awesome" as it appears here is all relative; as long I can agree with somebody that something is awesome, then it doesn't matter to me if it's secretly (or obviously or plain just) nerdy/weird/retarded.
