Opeth are masters at their craft - namely creating music that blend layer upon layer of sonic excellence into epic tracks. From hauntingly beautiful to monstrously crushing, every Opeth album and track exhibit a high level of production, skill, and ambiance. Even though its a live album, The Roundhouse Tapes show this same level of quality and craftsmanship that we've come to expect from Opeth. Each track is stunningly executed, demonstrating the amazing skill possessed by all members of the band, even the 'new guys'.

With tracks spanning their entire career, there is something for everyone. The sound quality is crystal clear, and while some of that great sound that Opeth achieves in the studio is lost (as you'd expect from a live album) the overall recording is stellar.

Highly recommended for any Opeth fan, and coming in at over 90 minutes (something only Opeth can do with just 9 tracks), The Roundhouse Tapes are a solid addition to any Opeth fan's collection
